HoneyBee Gallery was founded by Joanna Hakimi. She is an experienced family therapist and works entirely with new moms and their babies. She believes that that art has a positive impact on an infant and child's growth and development. There have also been clinical studies that show that art nurtures creativity, encourages imaginative play, and promotes tolerance. When I became a new mom I know first hand how important these things were to me. I wanted the BEST for my new child just as any other mother does.
