My husband and I both love music so of course we would like for Taylor to enjoy it as much as we do. I've been collecting different childrens CD's for her for a while now. She loves to dance and sing and can usually convince dear old mom to get up and dance too.
Tay and I had to opportunity to review Debi Derrberry's baby bananna CD. First of all I think Debi has a voice that all kids will love. She's full of life, lots of fun and seems to have an endless ammount of energy. The Baby Bananna CD has 10 tracks on it and the last one being a storybook. Our favorite song was none other then Baby Bananna. It's so easy to sing along to and Taylor had the chorus down by the end of the song the first time we listened to it. We also enjoyed Freckle Face Freddie and Scoops of icecream alot as well. My 2 year old now has requests it when we play the CD and those 3 songs are what we hear over and over again. The mix of calypso, reggae, jazz and folk music on this CD was very enjoyable to listen to. When music has a really great beat miss Taylor is a mini dancing machine!
The tracks on Baby Bananna include:
1. Baby Bananna
2. I wish you could fly with me
3. Scoops of ice cream
4. Happiest day
5. Oodle the Orangutan
6. I'm a chameleon
7. Freckle face Freddie
8. Tropical fruit
9. Slumberland
10. Baby Banna and the licorice tree (The storybook)
Debi is a very active voice-over artist and probably best known as “the voice of Jimmy Neutron,”. I also must mention that she does the voice over for "Weenie" on my daughters favorite cartoon, Oswald (If you have Noggin on 24/7 like me then you know what I'm talking about). Debi's other CD's are called Very Derryberry and What a way to play. I'll definetly have to put those on my list of music Taylor must have. Be sure to check out Debi's site to listen to some music and learn more about her and her fast moving career.
Thanks to my lovely ladies at Extraordinary Mothers and the nice folks at Debi Derrberry's site for this wonderful review opportunity.
