Bob Evans giveaway

Last week a group of some fabulous local bloggers got invited to check out Bob Evans brand new proto-type store located in Xenia, OH. I, along with the other moms who attended were mutually impressed with the new layout and design. There is a much more contemporary/farmhouse feel to it compared to the previous design. For as long as I have been a fan of the food at Bob Evans, I couldn't really say the same for the decor. The black and white farmhouse photos that line the walls give a very vintage feel to the restaurant. The new restaurant also makes great use of the space inside. I was very impressed by how the front of the store has it's own little area that has a very kitcheny/dinette feel to it. The color scheme is vibrant and fun and I think that the flat screen TVs are a wonderful addition. No worries though, there is no sound so you'll still be able to enjoy a nice peaceful meal. One of my absolute favorite features is Bob's big red table. I know it will be a huge kid pleaser, it definitely stands out amongst everything else inside Bob Evans.

Not only did we get to tour this brand new restaurant but we also got to sample some delicious food. The deep dish pastas are all amazing! My favorite was the chicken Alfredo. Can you say yum-o?! The all time best part of the entire morning was sampling the...drum roll please...APPLE PIE FRIES!!!!!! I don't think I have ever had anything so yummy in my entire life. Deep fried outside with a warm apple pie middle. These tasty treats even come with caramel dipping sauce which puts them over the top. That evening I couldn't get these yummy little guys off my mind sooo after dinner Taylor and I made our way over to Bob Evans and shared an order of them with a big glass of milk. They are seriously THAT GOOD.

All in all it was a great morning. I really enjoyed meeting some other local bloggers. I even borrowed these great pictures from Tricia at Once A Month Mom since I forgot my camera. She has an awesome site and couldn't be sweeter. Definitely be sure to stop by and say hello.

I love the pot roast beef stew dinner. When I was pregnant with my daughter, we couldn't find a place to stop and eat, but eventually came upon a Bob Evans. I had never been, and was surprised at the great selection. Since then, we have been back several times, and also love the desserts and the salads.

Thanks for the giveaway!
