Sports guys review and giveaway

I thoroughly enjoy toys that encourage children to use their imagination. Most toys these days are so elaborate, its nice to see something simple that a wide variety of ages can enjoy. Kaskey Kids is a company that was founded by Bruce and Christy Kaskey in 2001 with the purpose of creating simple sports action figures.

Kaskey Kids has several different sets of sports guys including football guys, college football, baseball guys, hockey guys and soccer girls and guys. All these sets come with their very own playing field/arena, ball/puck and referees! Very cool!

Our family was able to choose which "guys" we would like to review. I showed Bobby the site and was for sure he would want some football guys, particularly the Ohio State guys to to my surprise he suggested the hockey guys.



When we got the box with all the hockey guys I couldn't wait to pull it out and set it up. I unfolded the rink, which is a decent size piece of white plastic, just perfect to set up on the dining room table. It had alot of marks from being folded up in the box but after a few hours of being out it flattened out alot. I then easily assembled the the outer wall, placed it on top of the rink and got out our guys to start playing. I thought it was so cool that the set came with a mini hockey puck to hit around. Bobby knows more about the sport then I do, so he had a good ol time setting up different scenarios with the guys. The folks as Kaskey Kids have found that the cap of a pop bottle works as a great replacement if you happen to lose the original puck. Great idea when you;re in a pinch! Later in the day I took the Hockey guys to Tays room to let her have a chance to play. She recruited about 5 of her favorite stuffed animals to watch the event. Of course at almost 3 years old she has no clue what Hockey even is but she enjoyed playing and batting the puck around.



In addition to imaginative play with your sports guys these fun little figures make a great decoration at any sports party or even adorable cake toppers!
