Fiber One review and giveaway

Thanks to MyBlogSpark I was given the opportunity to review some delicious Fiber One yogurt along with a great "Healthy & Fit Weight Management" gift bag. I go back and forth with the whole diet thing and just recently I have started eating yogurt with Tay since it's her absolute favorite snack. It's nice to have a low cal option that tastes just as great as the regular stuff. Each cup has a mere 50 calories and 5 grams of fiber (20 percent of the Recommended Daily Value). It is also a good source of calcium and vitamins A and D, making this an all-around great choice for dieters and those watching their weight. Definetly a much healthier option for me as apposed to say brownies, which are a personal favorite of mine. Sigh....

Yoplait's Fiber One yogurt comes a variety of flavors including, Strawberry, Peach, Vanilla and Key Lime Pie. I am all over the vanilla! Its my absolute favorite! It's creamy, delicious and just as good as the regular brand minus the calories!

The Fiber One gift pack has storage containers and a cooler to store and transport snacks and a drink. If I was still a working mama, It would be carrying my lunch everyday.

Eco friendly cleaning products for animals

I use lots of different cleaning products in my home on a daily basis. Just recently I began trying to integrate green cleaning supplies in my stockpile. According to the Environmental Protection Association (EPA), typical household cleaning products and air fresheners are one of the leading contributors to poor indoor air quality. The agency reports that poor indoor air quality can lead to health issues that manifest soon after exposure or, possibly, years later.

As a "pet mom" of a beautiful black boxer named Kobe and a fat cat named Angel I know how important it is to clean up those little messes as soon as they happen. When my dog was a puppy, he liked to go to the bathroom NEXT to the puppy pads...sigh. I can't even begin to imagine all the harsh chemicals that have been sprayed, spritzed and rubbed into my carpet.

SeaYu® has recently announced the launch of Clean+Green, the only eco-friendly aerosol pet cleaning products on the planet. Clean+Green has many different types of products that are individually formulated to address a specific odor/stain problem and can be used on carpet and area rugs, wood floors, tile, cement and all fabrics – even litter boxes! Unlike many other products in the market only 1 application is needed.

I was able to review the Furniture Refresher and Carpet & Upholstery spray. I first tried out the Furniture Refresher in lieu of my normal Febreeze. This product was used on Kobe's (the dog) bed, my furniture, and his cage. All I had to do was saturate (not soak) the material and let it air dry. Once dry, I noticed a big difference in the odor...especially on his dog bed since its in our room. I have been spraying everything about once a week and it usually keeps the odor at bay. This product can also safely be used on leather. The Carpet and Upholstery spray has come in quite handy since my little fat cat is long haired, that means that those icky hairballs are always showing up on random places on my carpet. One spray to get the spot damp and then once its dry its gone. It's like magic! I love not having to break out the scrub brush. On occasion my dog will have an accident on the carpet and the spray works just as well on his urine and the smell disappears. If the odor returns after the spot you sprayed dried then the urine reached the padding. In order for the smell to go away the pad must also be treated.

Since I was so thrilled with the 2 products I reviewed I recently made my way to Wal-Mart and purchased the Litter Box
Odor Eliminator and Cleaner
. I was so sick of the powder stuff I had been using so it was a refreshing change. I'll definitely continue to be a pleased customer.

Clean+Green products are available at WalMart, Stop & Shop, PETCO®, PetSmart®, Pet Supplies Plus® and other retailers that sell pet specialty products in the US and Canada, as well as through the Clean+Green site - www.sea-yu.com.

I talked to him!

Yesterday I recieved my first phone call from Bobby! He only had 5 minutes to talk but it was so nice just to hear his voice. He said that basic isten times worse then he ever imagined...and he imagined bad. He's some kind of leader in his dorm and told me that the TI's constantly threaten him with his job. I know he didn't volunteer for the position because everyone said do not volunteer for anything. I'm thinking it was assigned to him because more then likely he's the oldest there (turned 27 in April). My dear husband also informed me he is 7 pounds lighter due to lack of food. He said the 1st night they had 60 seconds to eat and that he literally had 4 bites of corn. He did say that each day things are getting a little bit easier. I'm thinking he's just getting used to it. I did get his address but I think I wrote it down wrong since he was speed talking. He did say I'll be getting some postcard in the next few days with his address on it so thats good. I can't wait until the next time we get to talk, I know it's only been a week but Taylor and I both miss him like crazy and we still have a long time to go without daddy here. I just hope the times passes quickly.
